Forming a connected web of undergraduates dedicated to raising awareness about the world we live in by bridging the gap between environmental science and creative writing.

Our Mission

Accepting anything from traditional nonfiction, academic essays, poetry, and fiction, to multimedia works like collages, video essays, and visual art, Ginkgo Magazine strives to blend the world of environmental science and creative writing, raising awareness for the environment we live in while elevating creative voices and their unique perspectives. Ginkgo Magazine’s goal is to enhance the niche of Environmental Writing, a niche currently undervalued in its ability to incite change and impact the way we view the world.
